By TrainDerby is a world-famous rail centre with over 30 fast daily services to London St Pancras, (approx. 2hrs). You can travel directly to Derby from Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol, Cardiff, Dundee, Edinburgh, Leeds, Newcastle, Southampton, Plymouth and many other destinations. More locally there are direct connections to Matlock, Nottingham, Sheffield and Stoke-on-Trent. The station was first opened in 1839 and was at the time one of the largest stations in the country.
The station is situated a 1.5 miles from Trinity and is a short taxi ride or 20 min walk.
